Does anyone use a biofeedback head device to control teeth clenching?

I feel like this has really started to dominate my life recently. I have tried various mouth guards over the years which kind of help. I’ve been doing it since my teens and do have some recession along the top teeth on the side I clench but there’s no point in addressing the look of those teeth unless I stop clenching - which I don’t seem to be able to do.

I only do it at night. I have given myself insomnia over the worry of it as I tend to wake up when I know I’m doing it and then I’m scared to go back to sleep. I also have to rotate my night guards as otherwise they affect my bite. So sleeping feels like this scary thing to do as I just know every time I sleep I’m causing damage but I’m also exhausted!!!

Some people recommend Botox in the muscle but I’ve also read reports that that can cause bone loss. So I’m left with the biofeedback head bands. Never used them. I’m down on a waiting list for something called JawSense that sticks to the forehead. Anyone use them and want to recommend a brand to me?

Thank you.

No but following. I’ve lost a few teeth from it but equally area of Botox regarding the bone loss.

Did the Botox cause the bone loss? Lots of people seem to be doing it on the bruxism group I’m part of and are saying how game changing it’s been.

Sorry, predictive text! It should have said I’m wary or Botox so I haven’t had it done.
