I sell on eBay and Vinted not so much for something to do but to get some money for everyday expenses. I sell a mix of clothes vintage things like postcards and photos, jewellery etc.
I sold some thread on eBay a while back clearly showed the make it was new thread which I had as excess stock left from the craft shop I used to run. The lady who bought it said she could have bought it from a local shop no postage all sorts of rubbish she could see the make and did not have to buy it if she knew she could buy locally. Anyway bad feedback but I had just got back to 99.8% then the other day I sold an ornament which I carefully packed but arrived broken. happens sadly sometimes. Well the lady gave me a right mouthful about it was for a gift etc so my feedback is bad again
added to that on Vinted I sold a green bead necklace and by mistake I put wrong necklace in so apologised a refund was issued only £1. before I could say have the refund and I will send the right necklace gratias she also sent a message demanding to know where the correct necklace was and why did I send the wrong one? i said I am only human have held my hands up that I did it wrong she had refund does not really matter where the right one is now i can only apologies again
do other people have so much hassle? i do not do this for fun but actually to live
