What could this weird symptom be?

DD 19 has started getting really hot/burning sensation on various parts of her body for a few seconds at a time?

it happens under the toes/ball of one foot and in each inner thigh.

she says as well as feeling ‘like someone is holding a flame right next to her’, it can feel wet, like water is pouring over her.

Been happening for a few days now. I would have guessed at nerve damage but odd that it’s in several different places?

Any ideas? Thanks!

Forgot to say, the skin doesn’t actually feel hot to touch. Not red. Nothing to see at all?

Liver issue?

SherlocksHome · 29/05/2025 18:51

She doesn’t have any other liver related symptoms (just had a quick google). No itching and no yellow skin. She doesn’t drink any alcohol at all. Will do some more research.

It’s so odd. She said it feels red hot (even though it’s not) and like someone has poured warm liquid over her. Lasts about 5 seconds and has happened half a dozen times or so. Which is more than yesterday. So odd…

@Sherunswithwolves

That’s so helpful, thank you. I’ve just finished reading the article. She suffers a lot with anxiety but is particularly worried about a certain event at the moment. I wonder if they could be a factor?
Thanks again, really appreciate your reply 🙂

Stress can definitely play tricks on the body. I hope you can get some answers.
