Second '100 days' working out much like the first, but with a Vance-proof Pope, a bigly white elephant plane, a few more legal push backs and way more grifting.

At the G7 media centre in Canada, local reporters were not happy with Mark Carney for shutting down Trump's typically unhunged Q&A with reporters before the pair's bilateral. "Let him carry on!" they complained, after Carney intervened, much like someone shush-ing a drunk uncle at a wedding.

😅

Trump: "Putin speaks to me, he doesn't speak to anybody else, because he was very insulted when he got thrown out of the G8. He was thrown out by Trudeau, who convinced one or two people, along with Obama ... he doesn't even speak to the people who threw him out. And I agree with him."

I could believe that, actually.

Meanwhile I suspect Obama and Trudeau couldn't give two shits what Trump and Putin think about them.

(Did anyone catch Arnie blubbing his eyes out on Jimmy Kimmel when he was admitting that Trump won't speak to him any more ?)

Boelter is charged with State Charges and second degree murder because second degree doesn't require a grand jury. But, his case will most likely be presented to a grand jury and his charges upgraded to First Degree Murder.

The Trump Organization unveiled a mobile phone plan and a $499 smartphone that is set to launch later this year.

That's not good.

Trump sneakers shmeakers.

But a smartphone?

This is a regime for which controlling the information citizens receive is important, and slurping citizens' data and viewing habits is important.

I wonder what is packaged with the phone?

Presumably there's a superior Federal charge that will allow Trump to pardon him ?

DuncinToffee · 16/06/2025 17:37

Scary stuff

Acting US attorney Thompson details that Boelter went to the homes of two other elected officials after shooting Hoffman but before going to Hortman's house. One cop encountered him at the third house but thought he was a police officer.

The Looting of America. Isn't Trump also using a WH account to advertise the new Trump credit card?

Minnesota suspect attempted to kill two other state lawmakers, officials say

The Hortmans' home was his fourth call of the night, having shot the Hoffmans and had no joy at the other two addresses.

The police now think he was planning to go on to other lawmakers after killing the Hortmans, but was thwarted by policing seizing his car and the weaponry and maps it contained.

According to the Toronto Globe and Mail newspaper:
That’s certainly a unique view of history. Russia was kicked out of the G8 in 2014 after its first invasion of Ukraine. In 2014, the Canadian Prime Minister was Conservative Stephen Harper.

Mr. Trudeau, a Liberal, did not become Prime Minister until November, 2015.

So Trump had left the G7 a day early. A big sigh of relief from the other leaders I’m sure.

His “evacuate Tehran” comment seems to have caused widespread chaos in the city. Lord knows if he is parroting the Israeli government line or if he actually knows something is about to happen out there.

TokyoSushi · 17/06/2025 06:26

Wonder what he’s up to now…?

Trump was amplifying the Israeli message to evacuate certain cities by specifying the capital Tehran. Its 9+million residents however were not party to his bestest bigly plan on how this could be expedited.

The reality will be more innocent civilian deaths. Or maybe they're guilty simply for being in Tehran <sarcastic>

It’s so crass finishing his Truth Social post with “Stay tuned”. This isn’t a bloody TV show!

TokyoSushi · 17/06/2025 07:10

I just thought the same thing @IgotjellyI bet he’s actually loving the whole thing.

I wonder if he’s going to go full tonto and him & his friend Bibi are going to try to take out the whole Iranian leadership?

BustingBaoBun · 17/06/2025 07:10

Interesting seeing the footage of Trump and Starmer together. We know Starmer is short, 5ft8 I believe. Trump always insists he is 6ft2. All I can say is no way!.
He was taller than Starmer but not by that much.

Methinks someone is telling porkies...

I was reading some analysis (can’t remember where as I’ve read so much sorry) and it was suggesting Trump is likely still undecided about going in alongside Israel and that a lot of it is his style of maximum pressure “diplomacy”. I do think the hawks in the US will be rubbing their hands in glee at an opportunity to bring down the Iranian regime. Although history has shown us that rarely works out quite the way they hoped.
