No tracking number with online order

I made an online order on refurbed on Monday night. I got a delivery date from the 28th to the 30th of May. I thought maybe it might have been dispatched on Tuesday or yesterday to start the journey for delivery. But it wasn't dispatched and I never got a tracking number either.

I thought it would be dispatched and I would be provided with a tracking number but now but there has been no update from the seller I bought from.

I did request a tracking number this morning but it wasn't responded to.

I am supposed to have delivery by tomorrow and I find it hard to believe that I will even get it tomorrow considering it hasn't been been dispatched.

I also asked for a tracking number and I find it poor form how didn't respond to me with a tracking number.

Do I leave this another few more hours and seek a refund perhaps. I'm finding communication about dispatch very poor form. That's all.

I presumed I would have got a dispatch email by now with a tracking number but I never got anything. It hasn't even started the shipping/travelling process and I doubt it would even get to me by tomorrow.

I asked for a refund earlier but again my message was t responded to.

I got no dispatch or tracking information about this order and I am supposed to she it for tomorrow. It looks doubtful that I will even get it. I don't know if it even started the journey to me. I have no tracking information and I have no idea if this will be sitting in the rain for me at some point on my door step.

I contacted the shipper through the refurb site but I got nesponse.

Did you make a separate agreement with thr seller about the mode of delivery, and the delivery date? Otherwise, the refurbed T&Cs say it’s approximate and not binding, so wouldn’t be grounds for a refund.

  1. ”The delivery of the products you ordered is carried out directly by the suppliers. The delivery is made to the delivery address you provided.
  2. You acknowledge that all information regarding the shipping or delivery of a product provided through the marketplace are merely estimated and approximate values. It seems an interesting site…

Its also Austrian, and therefore any action against Refurbed would be in line with Austrian rights, not UK ones.

No, I never got a separate agreement about the order or delivery. I got an estimated delivery date for maybe 28-30th.

I know tomorrow is the 30th.

My issue is that I got no dispatch email or tracking number so I don't know if it even started the shipping process to me. I don't know if I am going to get it tomorrow or not.

I requested a tracking number but there was no response from them.

The T&Cs and shipping pages don’t seem to confirm they’ll use a tracked method (although I presume they will), or that they’ll provide this to you.

They do state that the shipping estimate is just that, and isn’t binding, so despite it now being over the estimate, it doesn’t seem there is much you can do.

If it doesn’t arrive at all, and you paid by card, you should have some protection at least - as long as you paid directly to the site and they aren’t seen as a third party payment processor.

It does seem rubbish service, but the reviews of Refurbed aren’t great overall, so hopefully it was cheap enough to be worth the hassle and wait!
