Son's football team is folding. Are all junior football teams clicky?

Got word last weekend my son's football team is folding. Seems the two managers have fallen out with eachother. The same thing happened with his old team two years ago. It's annoying because my son loves his football and he had enjoyed playing football with this team and made new friends and now we will have to look for a new team again. Haven't told him yet.

Are all junior football teams like this or are we just unlucky? And why can these managers not just get along with eachother and not take it so seriously.

Unlucky for two teams to have folded.

Completely understandable that, once anyone realises what managing a children's football team is actually like, that they don't want to do it anymore.

Have you thought of stepping forward yourself? Offering to do part of the role even and seeing if someone will stop up to do the other parts ?

That’s really bad luck. My DS hasn’t had this experience, and I haven’t heard of it happening in other teams locally.

could you and another parent maybe take it on?

Yeah we must be unlucky then.

It sounds like from the mum's on the WhatsApp all the boys are going off in different directions now so they wouldn't have a squad even if we (dh) could take it on.

It sounds like a lot of the boys are now going off in different directions joining other teams now.
