Do you want to be buried/cremated with a Bra on

I for one rarely wear one as they are so darn uncomfortable and I never gave the undertaker one for my mum but I never realised this was such a bone of contention, excuse the pun.

Are you a with or without or simply don’t care?

My daughter says she will haunt anyone who puts her eternally in a Bra.

I want to be wrapped in the blanket that I used to make dens with as a child.

No clothes.

Dead today burn me tomorrow move on.
As planed no one will have my ashes no service no nothing,

Are you allowed to just wear what you were wearing, or do they always put an outfit on you? I hate the idea of someone undressing and dressing my dead body.

Not even considered an outfit tbh. But me and my BFF will both have a bag of marshmallows in our coffins. For toasting when we meet on The Other Side....

Cremated, simplest/least polluting type of coffin, wearing nowt but my birthday suit and a dab of Chanel Coco - go out the same way I came in and return to carbon and stardust, in the big beautiful Gaian go-around that we all come from and go back to! There’s something glorious about embracing the natural cycle of it and not dragging any earthly stuff with you into the yonder.

Having said that, we made sure DM went looking her best - lovely dress, full underwear, including bra, tights and slip (she’d have hated to be flopping about with no foundations), plus favourite coat and shoes. And a nice warm scarf. Even in the flames of eternity she’d be complaining of the cold, bless her.

No bra, and I would prefer to be lying. Sideways like I do in bed (and Luke very ancient burials)

Yes or they'd be under my armpits !
I'd like to be in something comfortable, leggings and a sweater though.
But guess it's up to whoever is choosing what I wear or don't wear.

I'm sure when my DSis was cremated we were asked to bring in knickers and a bra for her. She was cremated in her pjs and new fluffy socks

Tights in eternity is a new kind of horror worse even than a bra. Pyjamas and bare feet for me. No bra or pants.

Well I'd always assumed I'd be fully dressed (if I's given it any thought at all) so yes, I never go out without one and find them perfectly comfy (I'd never heard of taking them off when you get home till I joined MN).

@NatFatPrat I have always under wire bras. Don't like the ones without. I must be an odd one.
On the other hand I have never thought of that I want to be buried in. I tend to sleep naked so I think same for my last and eternal sleep. As naked as the day I entered this world

I hope to not feel the need to bother wearing a bra when I die. Hopefully as an old lady, probably in silk pyjamas or a fabulous gown. My mum was cremated with no bra due to having a chest drain, but requested I ask the hospice nurses to change her into a lovely plisse gown, her handmade crochet shawl and then I also put a little damask cushion under her head. Boogie.

Never even thought about it! I don't even know how it works - who decides what you wear, how do you get dressed, etc! Not going to worry about it to be honest.

I really couldn't care less. I'm going to go all shades of red, green, purple and black with the added bonus of blowing up like a balloon and fluids excreting from me within a few hours. I’m actually not a fan of socks either , i much prefer bare feet however I hate having cold feet! 😂

Naked. Lightly draped with cotton sheet. Like the idea of being on side with a pillow between my knees (basically how I sleep on hot nights, which sre my fave). Buried under a tree. No service, waken or any of that silly malarkey. No visiting where I'm buried. Get on with your lives!

Wow this is something I have never thought about! I guess I'll be dead so I won't care, but I'm blessed in that department so I'll probably look better with one on, not that I think anyone will be looking! 😅

I wanted to be on my side too but there was a AMA recently from a funeral director, and I can't remember the reason but she said it wasn't really possible.

I've specified organic cotton PJs with no buttons. Purple wool coffin with organic cotton lining. Pillow. (and my comforter).

Nope! I want to be cremated in a lovely new pair of pyjamas. No bra, but I’ll have knickers on ☺️

I hate the thought of any of my lovely clothes being cremated!? Much prefer they are donated and I'm cremated in a bed sheet or something.
