Money is a little tight at the moment anyone have ideas how I can make extra money?

Sell some of your unused stuff online.
Take on extra hours at work
Get a second job
Write down everything you spend for 2 months to hold you accountable and to see what cuts can be made

Ask for a pay rise

For me I do overtime at work.

I think I would enjoy being a mystery shopper. Does anyone have any experience? Or companies to sign up to? Part time eve job possibly OP?

Oh a mystery shopper sounds good. I could have a look for evening work in my area. Self employed so a pay increase and extra hours aren't possible. A good declutter and selling online is something that I can do.

Check all your utilities and make sure you are getting g the best deals

Get rid of any service you pay for and dont need .

While working in retail, I met an elderly couple who asked me if I would be interested in coming round and cleaning their home once a week.
I decided to do that.
The job was one I took pride in doing and it wasn't heavy work and I got paid very well.
Another job I did and again it wasn't because I responded to an advert , it was one neighbour recommending me to a friend of hers and I ended up walking her dog daily while she was recuperating from a major operation.
I've also done cat- sitting and was paid very well for that too.
It's worth it to to people to have someone that they can trust and that their animal likes.

These are very small ideas OP, but I've found that whenever you're working, even in a small job, it gets you out and people take notice of you which sometimes results in you getting offered or being referred to for another job, so don't stop rolling!

Consider house sitting.. I just made 750 for 3 weeks overnight stays. During the day I just did my normal working hours.. Self employed also.

I am a cleaner and they wanted a long trip.. But make a pet care profile on that site - for free - and add on any pet experience..
Free members can only message free members but honestly the pay option really doesn't make much difference on getting customers ime.

I work as a nurse and pick up over time, I sell outgrown stuff on vinted and I clean as well
