Weird twin coincidence

I want to preface this that I am not "woo" at all but do find this quite weird! I have a non identical twin. I went to a new gym a few months ago in a different city and told the class instructor my name. He called me by my twins name the full class (there's zero chance he'd ever met my twin). I told him at the end his mistake and he'd actually been calling me by my twins name. I met my twins friend for the first time this weekend and she had introduced her new boyfriend to my twin. Her new bf later said to her that my twin seemed really nice but he kept wanting to call her by my name (he had no idea about my sister being a twin or what my name was and definitely never met him). Maybe not woo at all but I'm a bit spooked by it?! Or just a weird coincidence?

On a different note, when we were younger we definitely used to have a weird telepathic thing going on. My twin was away on an overnight as a child and ended up in hospital badly injured.
Before my mum even knew about it, I was inconsolable for no reason and curled up in pain,, if then made sense after the phone call.

Just a weird twin musing that my rational brain is struggling to comprehend!

Could be an ordinary explanation. Are the names Rachel and Rebecca, or Amy and Emma, basically one of those pairings that get mixed up a lot? Sarah and Sally?

basically people hear your name and it just goes into their head as "common 80s/90s name starting with R"

is a bit spooky!!

my husband is a non identical twin also and had similar when young- his bro had meningitis and was taken to hospital with mum, bro went unconscious and at the same time at home with their dad my husband passed out too. Nuts!! Also instances of his bro getting picked on/bullied in different part of school or down the road and my husband said he’d get a rage all of a sudden out of no where and know to run to exactly where his twin was. Whatever this connection was faded as they got older.

logically I would have said not possible but completely believe my hubby, so no idea how but could def be a spooky connection with the name thing!

My mum has a non-identical twin, and she’s had lots of experiences where she feels pain or sadness, then later learns that her twin was not well
