How many pieces of bacon do you put on a bacon roll, I usually go for 2 ( maybe even 3 for huge roll 🫣👀) Stopped at in laws this weekend and MIL put one on ….. its left me wondering… am I greedy, is one normal …

obvs husband got 2 🤣🤣🤣

Usually two or three slices but teenage sons will happily eat four.....and two sandwiches!!! 😳😳🤣

MassiveOvaryaction · 25/05/2025 22:30

Depends if it's back or streaky.
Warburton's plastic white roll would be 2 back or 4 streaky. Mil is a meany!

Littlemisschatterbox2 · 25/05/2025 22:32

Slightly bigger roll than the Warburton's pre sliced ones…

back bacon

Same as you - two on a standard roll or three on a large roll.

LoveTheLake525 · 25/05/2025 22:34

Depends on the cooked size of the bacon & the size/thickness if the roll - but 1 NEVER.

shellyleppard · 25/05/2025 22:45

Also depends on how many guests I'm cooking for..... could that have influenced your mil?

Purplecatshopaholic · 25/05/2025 22:47

Either 2 or 3. Never 1…

Ah. Penis portions, they call that.

Littlemisschatterbox2 · 25/05/2025 22:57

@shellyleppard there was 4 of us, she was probably trying to hint I eat too much 🤣

@Littlemisschatterbox2 or trying to make a pack of six rashers stretch??? And no you don't eat too much x

Mayflyoff · 25/05/2025 23:06

You need bacon in every bite. Surely one piece of bacon doesn't achieve that.

Littlemisschatterbox2 · 25/05/2025 23:15

@Mayflyoff exactly my thoughts, def no bacon in every bite. It was a disappointing breakfast I have to say

A pack of 10 slices of back bacon does me, Dh and our 2 DD’s. 2 slices each for the young ones, 3 each for us oldies.

suki1964 · 25/05/2025 23:24

Get your bacon from B&M - its thick, big slices, and doesn't shrink - 20 slices (1kg) £4.99

In a normal sized roll one is really enough - two in a sarnie
