Can't lock my back door

Should it be easy to replace my door handle and lock myself?

Several months ago it got jammed and would not open . Ds and the dog were stuck outside ds was screaming and panicking so we basically kicked the door in and it snapped the lock and the key got snapped to.

It's a double glazed wooden door . Also the door has dropped how do raise it again. I think that's what caused it to jam in the first place. I have shown a pic of the hinges /screw bits seens to be a start shape.

Locks should be easy enough, you will find videos on YouTube. They show you how to measure the depth, so you get the right lock, and how to fit.
There are also instruction videos on YouTube on how to adjust hinges for upvc doors so there should be something for wooden doors too but I will look at the pics when they load and see if I can find anything helpful.

Blimey. Sorry, I’ve googled loads and can’t come up with anything similar. The adjustments on upvc door hinges is in the little hole with a small Allen key. The big screws that hold the hinges onto the door don’t do anything adjustment wise.

Is the 09 11 20 on the hinge indicating that the door hasn’t been fitted long? If it’s still under guarantee the company should come out and adjust. Not sure they would fix the lock though as it was snapped by force, although you could argue you wouldn’t have had to if the hinges hadn’t been an issue maybe? Good luck
