Where to go abroad!

Not been abroad for 20 years and now looking for three nights away in July somewhere. I like cycling, water (sea or lake), swimming, cheap spas, history, art, quality coffee stops, beautiful countryside, a temperature below 30 degrees centigrade. Where should I go? I will be a lone traveller and on a budget.

Ile de ré in France is lovely for cycling and swimming. We went in July last year and it never went above 25 degrees. Not sure about spas though.

Budapest is good for cheap spas and amazing public swimming pools. Plenty of history, art, and good coffee shops. It should be just under 30 degrees in July. I’ve never been outside the city but should think you can get out to some nice countryside easily.

That sounds a nice mix!

I have a fully kitted camper van but happy to use it or fly or train
