Two job interviews (on the same day, with lots of prep for both), DC at home next week, no help during the day.... Would you stay or go away on a weekend?

I've got two job interviews next Friday (not quite back to back but still).

One is a panel interview with STAR type questions. I've had that type of interview and it took me weeks to prepare

The other one is a proper "strategic presentation" .

5yo is at home all of next week, and I had already booked a weekend away.

I genuinely don't think I have the luxury to go

WWYD?

I’d go
id plan how you’re going to prep. You don’t have weeks anyway so I’d be really strategic about your answers to scenarios and questions
do it in blocks and when your child is in bed
take a notepad away this weekend and start to sketch things out
I personally wouldn’t miss a weekend away

If not going away means someone else takes the 5 year old on the trip, sounds like a good idea. Otherwise I[d just fit it in.

I wouldn't have time as it's a girls weekend (proper pissup) so basically I'd only have Tue-Thur

I'd go but explain to friends and then miss out on a few activities to prep. If you're home presumably you only have time once she's asleep anyway, unless you are really disciplined and stay out all day to prep

I would prep during the weekend while DH looks after the 5yo.

I'm pretty erratic with being able to work in the evenings (sometimes I can, sometimes I can't)
