Does a decent none underwire bra exist for the properly big boobed?

I want a bra to wear when gardening that has no wires waiting to dig in. I'm a HH cup. Anyone got any suggestions please?

Sugar Candy, expensive though.

bookstack · 21/05/2025 18:42

Not really, unless you don’t mind mono-boob.

Advent0range · 21/05/2025 18:43

I'm probably more medium-boobed, but I'm really impressed by Shapermint. Cheap enough to be worth a try?

heldinadream · 21/05/2025 18:54

What's the other measurement?
M&S might have something, I get 34 large cupped (g and h) non wired bras from them and have for years and frankly I'm not up for wearing anything else, they are so comfortable. But different sizes go up to different cup letters.

Sports bra? Panache are good, I wear the wired ones (they don't dig in) but there is an underwired version. You might get on with Molke.

Gassylady · 21/05/2025 19:00

Be very careful of Molke. I tried one once (they used to have a try before you buy policy I think) I thought I was going to have to cut the thing off. I was a 34HH at the time. What about the old fashioned but very supportive Doreen from triumph

The Anita comfort range is good, the high % cotton one (Jana) in particular is quite breathable.

Goddess Keira Non wired.

Agree re Molke, they are super difficult to get on and off.

Elomi Morgan bra is excellent.

36 or 38 band size depending on fit

Ha, M&S website was working ten minutes ago and now I can't get individual bra listings, sorry. Definitely worth looking at their full support non wireds though when they're up and running again. And so much cheaper than some of the other suggestions. Although some of them do look very good.
Great bras are the holy grail!

pigeonstew · 21/05/2025 19:23

God please tell me if you find one

greengrit · 21/05/2025 19:25

Glamorise, ordered from Amazon are really comfy non-wired bras.

RaininSummer · 21/05/2025 19:27

I got two great ones from m and s recently. They were an ff equivalent I think a G cup

Magpiecomplex · 21/05/2025 19:27

M&S do a cotton non-wired one which goes up to a K. I'm usually 36JJ but have to buy 38K in these, they do come up a bit small. Very comfortable though, and cheap too.

Spitalfieldrose · 21/05/2025 19:34

I buy normal ones and just cut the underwire out. They work exactly the same and are really comfortable. Try it with an old bra and see how you get on.

mushypeasontoast · 21/05/2025 19:35

I'm a HH cup and I use M&S. They actually have a range for me to choose from. Their front opening zip sports bras are fabulous for keeping everything in place. I can run in them without bouncing.

I definitely recommend their Ultimate Support Non Wired Sports Bra F-H

I’m a 36GG and the only one that gives any sort of proper support is a M and S flexi fit one. But it still has mono boob. I just don’t care about that anymore. Comfort is everything to me.

countrygirl99 · 21/05/2025 19:37

M&s work.if your boob's are forward shaped but if the shape extends under your arms they aren't the right shape.

BlueWalker · 21/05/2025 19:38

Another vote here for Shapermint. I never thought I would wear an unwired bra out of the house, but I've been rotating Shapermint bras for a couple of months and they are cracking. Comfy, good support, good shape under clothes and no monoboob. F cup here.

Mykittensmittens · 21/05/2025 19:43

I am a 36g/gg and I don’t wear wired bras any more.

flexifit M&S good, plus they have another non-padded non-wired design which is all over lace like a 5 petal flower (the site isn’t working again even for browsing so I can’t link).

but also, these are a revelation. Utterly supportive and SO cheap. I’d chose these over the M&S ones they go up to a G but are generous so I would certainly try! https://direct.asda.com/george/lingerie/bras/navylight-blue-embroidered-non-padded-full-cup-bras-2-pack/GEM1144335-3118176,default,pd.html?clr=Navy%252FLight+Blue

Owmyelbow · 23/05/2025 17:39

Thanks all. Hopefully m&s sort their site soon. I didn't think they did big enough sizes but it was a good while since I even looked in there. I'll check out the others too. Potentially in ascending price order :)
