My son, who lives abroad, came home fir a visit today. I was waiting at Birchanger Services for him to call to say he was ready to pick up but when he called the battery on my car had completely died (how do cars know when it's most inconvenient?) and I had to call out the AA for a new battery. A complete stranger gave him a lift to the services which helped a lot. If anyone knows the person who gave him a lift can you thank them for me. I was sorting out going over 2 hours parking when he arrived so didn't see them to thank them myself.
