Help me name my new jewellery range!

They are stacking rings with a selection of coloured gemstones. I am making a gold set and a silver set, and the customer can mix and match. I want a name that is light hearted and fun. I quite like ‘Pick and Mix’ as a name, because they are a bit like sweets. But I don’t know if it’s too frivolous.
Please help me, I need to decide by the end of the week. (Excuse my old lady fingers, I need a model with beautiful hands!).

Not ´all that glitters’ because the second half of that phrase is ´is not gold’. Since these are gold, don’t pick a name that suggests they aren’t.

@NorthFaceofthelaundrypile no idea of the price point or if pure gold/gold plate etc - they look nice but as those facts weren’t given it’s hard to know where to pitch as they may be quite cheap - hard to tell

OP said they were solid gold. So won’t be cheap, especially given the price of gold at the moment.

How about Cirque Precieuse?

Chat gpt is good for ideas.

Not very keen on pick and mix as I automatically think of Woolworths.

What about "All that Glitters"

The whole quotation suggests fakery though… Plus to be pedantic it’s actually glisters.

HaddyAbrams · 20/05/2025 20:07

I have no suggestions for names, but they are stunning rings.

Notellinganyone · 20/05/2025 20:09

I love Circe as per previous PP. She was an enchantress. Also Artemis, Selene, Xanthe, Io are all good.

From the ones mentioned here I love Strato, Strata and Cirque.

They are beautiful rings, OP, do you have a photo of the silver ones?

metamorphosis does have a fairly strong association with cockroaches….

Godis or carnival are my favourites suggested. I would personally avoid anything 'word & word'. Brand names like that are everywhere now and just doesn't make me instantly think quality. I appreciate this might be a me thing though!

thank you. I can appreciate that the association with sweets seems a bit flippant. They are expensive rings (I haven’t priced them up yet) but they are solid gold with sapphires. However, the place where I will sell them, and the website, is a place where customers will spend a lot of money, so they are a bit of fun compared to the really high end stuff.
I quite like the idea of linking them to a party or festival. Maybe Carnival?

Mixstone? Infini-ring? Spirall?
