Company Registration - Tide?

Hello - does anyone have any thoughts or views or experiences about setting up a company registration? At Gov.Uk it's £50 to set up but Tide is offering £14.99 and a certificate in 1-2 days. Is this is a scam? Am I missing something fundamental?

Any comments would be very helpful and appreciated.

I don’t know who tide is, but if they are offering to set it up for £15 who is paying the £50, as surely that still needs paid?

Presumably Tide offer this as a loss-leader and expect to make up the difference on fees they charge you for other stuff.

You automatically sign up for a business bank account with them as part of the incorporation service. They do the incorporation for you more cheaply in order to get you on board on the banking side.

Tide also offer £75 for starting a business account with them. They’re relatively new so it’s wort it for them to get customers.
