Super king duvet - what way?!

So this is pretty silly. I just got a super
king duvet to put on our king size bed. However I’m sure I read on here on another thread that they’re supposed to go horizontal on the bed? The duvet label is at the bottom which would suggest vertical but I’ve been wrestling about with the cover and I
cant figure it out. Am I being stupid? Help! The cover is just plain white which doesn’t help.

Super king size is rectangle not square. The longer sides are for top and bottom of the bed.

It’s wider than it is long so it’s a rectangle, lie the cover down and then lie the duvet on top of it (flat on the floor) and it’ll be obvious

Ok I’ve tried to lie the duvet cover on top of duvet (room isn’t that big, enough for bed and not much else) and it would seem that the ties for the cover would mean that the duvet would lie vertical?

If it has a tag on that goes at the bottom.

One of our superking duvets is an all season so it’s got 3 poppers across the top but only 2 down the sides.

One has vertical stitching. One has horizontal stitching. We have a lot of duvets in this house. They all have the label on the bottom edge.

Does it have seams running through it? The seams always go egdge to edge not top to bottom. Also label goes at a side.

The differing bed sizes vary not in length but in width. ( all beds except kiddies are the same length )

So A king size bed will have the same length as a double bed but the former will be wider.

So the super king size duvet should be longest across the beds width

It’s just one seam all the way around the border. It’s a just like down so made up of squares. I’m getting the longer sides should be horizontal but the cover has ties and it looks like once it’s on it’ll be vertical, rather than horizontal which everyone says it should be. I’m waiting for my partner to get in 😂.

Just measure it OP.
