Holidays with Care Provided?

My mum uses a wheelchair and needs carers morning and evening for getting in/out of bed. We've suggested to her that maybe going on holiday to mark her significant birthday at the end of the year would be a good thing, and suggested one of the tours run by this company: https://www.limitlesstravel.org The tours they offer are either places she's been before or doesn't really fancy going to, which is fair enough, but means I need to start researching again!

Has anyone any experience of holidays with carers? We'd love to look at somewhere like Florence, because Mum likes art history, but I'm not sure if there are any other companies which do the same kind of tour. It's not something any of us have considered before and having had a cursory search, I'd much rather have proper recommendations!

Helping Hands offer holiday carers, which might be an alternative option? It wouldn't be an organised tour (although you could definitely do this through a travel agent) but the carer would accompany you on holiday and be there to help your mum. Carer Supported Holidays | Holiday Care | Helping Hands Home Care.
They can also help with booking things to make sure they are accessible etc, so if you wanted to go somewhere like Florence they'd be able to help with this.

Thank you - that looks like an option! I did find a site that listed hotels and accommodation with accessible facilities, so possibly we could design our own trip.
