Holiday and due period

So I'm due to fly out on 14th June for 2 weeks sun holiday. I'm due my period 15th June. Thanks to perimenopause I am either 2 days early or 2 days late so my dates have changed to get my period since we booked our holiday.
I have the tablets to delay my period and I'm wondering if it's a better idea to take them now as I'm due in 3 days so I'll need to start them today and push this month out by 2 weeks so next month I'll be due after my holiday or just wait and take them for the 2 weeks I'm in holiday. It means remembering to take 3 tablets a day at the same time roughly each day e.g 9,3,9

Start now.
I was due my periods worst day on my wedding day- yeah white dress plus endo/PCOS nightmare clot period was not happening on my watch.
I took them the month before, to knock the dates a bit, and it worked wonders, however I then took them at the previous period due date to be sure.

Be warned though, I had a horrendous period the next month.

This is where the contraceptive pill is highly useful. I always used it to jiggle dates around. Probs not relevant for you but in case other people search up the same. I wouldn't want to be on whilst away.

Great thanks ladies. Think I'll take them now.
Unfortunately I can go on the pill as it doesn't agree with me.

What tablets are these, please? I’m flying next Wednesday 28th, and due on my period 29th 😩

Also with the contraceptive pill: I was sterilised in January so no longer take it, but the pill I had was the mini pill and my periods were sporadic on that so even if I took some leftover tablets now, I think it would still be a risk as it tools ages to regulate my periods on it.

My GP gave me PRIMOLUT
It's 3 tablets daily at the same time each day.
Start 3 days before your period is due.

I delayed a period last year with norethisterone (bought online but I think they do an GP check) and did what you’re planning in delaying the cycle before the one I wanted to delay on holiday. I was glad I did it that way as during the delay period with the pills it extended that pre-period feeling so I was glad to not have that while on holiday or have to remember the pills when travelling. My periods are very regular though. I didn’t have any issues with the next period or side effects, so planning to do it again this summer!

I used to use the contraceptive pill similarly but haven’t been on it in years (I’m almost 50 and DH has had a vasectomy)

Thank you so much. I’ve managed to order Norethisterone from Asda pharmacy. I wish I’d have known about it sooner and delayed an earlier period like you have, but holiday and period is due next week so I’ll have to make do. Really pleased to have read this thread though, I had no idea it existed.
