I’m looking for somewhere to break the journey overnight between Surrey and central Scotland. Probably within 30 mins of the A1 or M6 in Northumberland or Cumbria. With two young children something fun like a farm stay or with a playground would be great. But as we’re only after a pit stop, it needs to accept one night bookings and have food options close by, so we don’t have to worry about about shopping and cooking. Any suggestions?
