Hi all

My department is closing down and so me and my team are all being made redundant. We’ve got a few ‘official’ gifts from work coming but I would like to get them all a small something from me personally.

We’ve all worked together for years and were a very happy group so it’s really sad but there’s a lot of good memories.

There’s 10 of us, women and men - ages from late 20’s to early 60’s so a real range and I’m struggling to think of something.

Any ideas?

Perhaps a group photo on a mug?

@stuckasachildagainsorry but that would end up in the back of the cupboard for life!
OP I would love some homemade jam or chutney. If you can’t make it yourself get some artisan one from a local market. If slightly higher budget then a selection pack.

Do you want to get them all the same? And how much per person?

You can't go far wrong with Fox's Golden Crunch Creams.

When a special colleague left we made her a tea towel with photo highlights of her time on the team. Her role involved a fair bit of travel which made for good pics but we took a lot of pics on socials too. Could do similar for everyone ?

Personalised key rings ? Personalised notebooks for the new jobs? Or simply a card with a nice message + some earrings to go into the envelope if they’re mainly women? (I do this for friends at Christmas - could swap for key rings for the men)

I personally wouldn’t bother with something edible as it’s always easily forgotten.

Addition: I also had a colleague who gifted the office home grown plants in tiny pots for Easter, which we’ve since grown to full and kept alive! Money plants work well!
