You Tube unable to comment

Does anyone know why I can’t comment on a YouTube video? I’ve tried a few times, the comment appears but then promptly disappears. It’s just a helpful comment recommending something to do with birds, so completely innocent! The YouTuber is just a woman who vlogs about homemaking, mostly.

And the plot thickens - I’ve just posted a test comment on someone else’s YouTube and it’s been posted and is still there! Weird!
