Stay alive if no man on earth was sexually or physically attracted to you in any way?

Doesn’t apply to me but curious as friends were discussing this the other night. Answers from women only - would you stay alive/be able to enjoy life if literally NO man on earth was sexually or physically attracted to you/turned on by you in any way, shape or form? And why?

"Staying alive" seems completely irrelevant here.

And "enjoying life", in my mature years, has no connection with any men or women finding me at all sexually attractive.

It's ironic because I know I have long been regarded as attractive in a physical sense by many in the local community, but they know I keep myself to myself, and it's more that latter fact that allows me to enjoy life without needless complications.

The situation was different in my youth, when I did for a while hitch my self esteem to my sexual attractiveness, which was easy enough to do, but resulted in me feeling increasingly abused and devalued.

My attitude to those years has long been: "been there, done that, and am now well shot of it."

Are you @BeanQuisine? my cousin didn't have sex with her now ex husband for 8 years, neither of them were happy, I'm not suggesting sex would have saved the relationship but what a miserable existence

Absolutely - sign me up!! Unfortunately, though, a non-trivial number of men (yes, #notall) will use sexual references to harass women they're not at all attracted to just to assert domination or because they think it's obligatory or the natural order of things.

Have to say @Nopersbro I've worked, adjacent to teaching, in an industry mostly males, DJ's & I never found most of them pervy, some yeah but so are some teachers, some fellas are self entitled cunts

I feel sorry for any sons of women on here if this is the way men are thought of

some are some aren't, the sooner this becomes ingrained

Nothing miserable about my existence. I've had more sexual relationships than most people, but none of them led to a long-term partnership or marriage because I've never really been invested in that idea.

Now in middle age, I don't bother with sexual relationships. I've had more than enough of that and feel relieved it's no longer something I need to regard as an obligation.

Well not all women of course are but some women spend a lot of time and energy on it and going from one man to another and online dating and trying to 'hook' one like they are a fish and spend a fortune trying to look younger to 'keep' one
