My stress level is high
Car accident where I think they're fault but they are blaming me
Facing redundancy and I'm main bread winner
Kids doing gcse's and girls friend stress (twins so double bubble)
I can't concentrate today, it's too much. I feel sick and can't get a sense of proportion.
Please help me calm down and keep facing the day.

Take a deep breath, go and stand outside and face the sun with your eyes closed and breathe in deeply

This too shall pass ❤

Michael Mosley used to advocate having a shower and turning the dial to cold for the last part of the shower (can’t remember how long for), especially allowing the cold water on the back of your neck. This was supposed to be very effective at physiologically shutting down a panic attack / major anxiety. Might be worth a try. There may be other practical things you can do as well, it is worth looking into.

there is also a thread on here at the moment about propranolol (not sure if I have spelt that correctly). It is not addictive and can be used to dial down stress levels / adrenaline. My friend takes it and says it has really helped.
