First time using vinted, seller didn't ship item..

Was supposed to be sent by today. Had a notification just now saying 'seller didn't ship item, you'll be given an automatic refund, we've left automatic negative feedback'.

And the option to replace with my own feedback.

Is this it? Seller doesn't bother posting and that's that? I'd still like the item even if it is a couple of days late.

Not a good first experience!

Not sure what to put in feedback either.

Sometimes people forget, might be an old item and seller doesn't use vinted much anymore.
I would contact them and ask if they'd forgotten and still want to sell the item

I’ve had this happen twice in the last week
I messaged both sellers politely and asked if they are planning to relist( to buy it again)
Heard nothing from either so I bought something else
Refunds are prompt

Did you check when the item was listed? If something has been up for months and months, I don’t bother with it.

I must add that these have been the only occasions and I’ve used it for years, so don’t be put off

Was it an expensive item? Some sellers are wary selling anything over a few pounds to someone with no feedback

It’s very frustrating when sellers don’t communicate. I don’t mind if people are late posting etc if they get in touch and are nice about it.

Not expensive but not cheap cheap either. I paid straight away.

Thank you for your help all. I'll msg the seller, see if I can gain some clarity.
