When can you do high impact exercise after c section?

Before getting pregnant, I went to the gym 4x a week doing a combination of weights and intense cardio. I’m due to have a c section next month and wondered when I’d be able to get back to doing this? I would have thought 12 weeks but not sure if this is realistic? I’m depressed with weight gain Sad

I would see a woman’s physio after birth to assess where your body is at before exercising. Better safe than sorry!

(have had 3 c sections)

I think it's more like 12 weeks to moderate exercise, sorry. As pp said, I'd see a women's physio and get checked for diastasis recti and prolapse before doing anything major.
