me and dh would be going somewhere abroad for a night it two at most

Just make sure they know what to do in case of an emergency, and I mean extreme emergency like that sinkhole that opened up and houses were evacuated. Could they cope with packing a bag and having somewhere to go? I say this because I previously lived in an area that flooded, all the time so people had grab bags.
