Both kids really well behaved and sensible
well the 18 years old is not a kid obv but very sensible
me and dh would be going somewhere abroad for a night it two at most
we would pay the 18 year old for doing it

Yes I would

MidnightPatrol · 15/05/2025 11:23

Sounds fine

OnTenterhooks · 15/05/2025 11:25

Absolutely - legally old enough to marry, have kids, have a mortgage, vote, hoping the army etc - I wouldn’t have any hesitation at all given your outline of their characters

ThisPithyJoker · 15/05/2025 11:27

Yep, wouldn't think twice about it

GemmaCalmDown · 15/05/2025 11:31

Yes, they are an adult and you have described them as sensible. Just make sure they know what to do in case of an emergency, and I mean extreme emergency like that sinkhole that opened up and houses were evacuated. Could they cope with packing a bag and having somewhere to go? I say this because I previously lived in an area that flooded, all the time so people had grab bags.

DilemmaDelilah · 15/05/2025 11:42

Well I was married, not living at home and had a child of my own at 19, so if your 18 year old is sensible and trustworthy then I don't see a problem.

JohnAmendAll · 15/05/2025 11:43

Yes. Without hesitation.

Overthebow · 15/05/2025 11:47

Yes as long as they are both happy with it. If either of them has any concerns then no.
