What do your 17yo boys wear on their feet on hot holidays?

He’s got slides for round the pool but what do your late-teen boys wear on their feet for walking any distance? Normal trainers must turn into squelchy buckets of sweat.

Sandals have been turned down as not cool.

Trainers 100%. Same for all of us, so long as they are breathable they're fine.

I had exactly that conversation with mine! Nike air max and sliders is all he would wear.
Didn’t complain about the heat but he did wear his sliders most of the time.

Trainers or sliders. The old man sports socks worn half way up his shins soak up the sweat apparently 🤢

Sliders mainly. Trainers if there's lots of walking.

I can almost be 100% certain that, unless your son is a middle aged man in a teenagers body, you have got absolutely no chance of him wearing trainer socks 😂

Trainers. He has sliders and birks too but struggles to walk in the birks at the best of times.

My daughters ex boyfriend at 17 was quite happy with birkenstocks. But My son and step son at same age wore nothing but trainers and sliders. Buy him some nice white sports socks like Nike or Adidas if he doesn't want to step out of his black ones. To be fair we are also trainer wearer on holiday when walking about

Sliders, crocs or trainers with crew socks. The teen will only go sock free if he’s on the way too / from the pool. Nike is the sock preference in our house but they’ll wear Adidas / Ellesse too

Agreed....or slightly 'off white' sports in my house socks because they keep wearing them outside with no shoes.

Nike Air Force with thick Nike Sport socks. It baffles me but hey ho.
