Tile gps tracker for luggage?

Taking a few connecting flights in the next few weeks and after having previously lost luggage I've been looking at android trackers. I know the system isn't as good as with iOS so just wondering if anyone has successfully used the tile trackers to locate luggage abroad?

I have successfully used it in UK, France, Japan, Aus, USA and Canada. The batteries last well too. Its a bit more tricky in rural areas
