My sister and I were laughing about the fact that we used to make a date to watch ‘Dawson’s Creek’ together every week.
We were both in our early 20s.

I also loved ‘My So Called Life’, anyone else watched that?

Loved my so called life Jordon catelano.

Inextremis · 14/05/2025 12:06

Trapdoor - used to watch it on Sunday mornings in my 30s. I still say 'Oh globbets!' from time to time...

skyeisthelimit · 14/05/2025 12:13

In the 90's, I was in my early 20's and loved BH90210.

As an adult, I have enjoyed watching (with teenage DD)

Malory Towers
Tracey Beaker
Hettie Feather
Sabrina the Teenage Witch
Glee

LavenderBlue19 · 14/05/2025 12:14

Twirliwoos. I found it incredibly calming.

ALittleBitWooo · 14/05/2025 12:14

Tracy Beaker

I used to watch Brum (about a little car that went on adventures) when I was a teenager. Loved it!

Vates · 14/05/2025 12:16

Oh and Bernard's Watch. I wanted that watch.

Serpentstooth · 14/05/2025 12:18

ChippySauce · 14/05/2025 12:22

Oh my gosh, Brum yes, used to love watching that with ds when he was little.

Bbq1 · 14/05/2025 12:26

@Livpool
YS is actually for adults. 19 year old plus us, 51 and 55 watch it. I don't think it's targeted at kids.

NeverDropYourMooncup · 14/05/2025 12:28

Phineas and Ferb.

BrennieGirl · 14/05/2025 12:32

Does anyone remember Come Outside with Pippin the dog? Dd1 (now 21) used to love it and I did too. It was kind of old even back then.

we recently had a clear out of videos and DVDs. I got rid of everything except the Come outside DVDs.

NPET · 14/05/2025 12:32

What about shows you were too young for?
Like "Dads Army"?
Because that was set in the past it still looks great ("Stupid boy!") whereas other comedy series made in the 1970s and 80s look so out of date and sexist.

Danikm151 · 14/05/2025 12:36

The dumping ground. I started watching Tracey beaker as a kid so it’s just aged with me.

Horrible histories too!

I watched Sharpe with my dad when I was still in primary school. Definitely too young but developed my first non-cartoon crush on Sean Bean Grin

One Tree Hill! I was late 20s/early 30s with young kids when it was on. My husband use to think it was hilarious that watching a programme full of angst ridden teenagers was the highlight of my week.

Ashipcalleddignity · 14/05/2025 12:48

I was absolutely obsessed with The Wonder years in my twenties. When my kids were little I loved The Sarah Jayne adventures and Bear in the big blue house. I used to watch it with the kids just before their bedtime and we would have a cuddle. I heard the goodbye song with the bear and the moon a little while ago and I was in floods of tears !

CarlaH · 14/05/2025 12:53

Buffy/Angel
Skins I was well into my 50's
Currently Malory Towers

Come Outside with Auntie Mabel. We used to watch it when ds (19) was little and as you say it was sort of quaint and old fashioned even then. Very gentle although AM did fly her own plane! Ds was also mad on Lazytown and I was very invested in that! It's weird when your kids grow up because you no longer know what is really on Kids TV.

DD1's Reception class (1997) was shown Come Outside on a Friday afternoon to calm them down before going home each week. They adored Pippin.

Yes!! My children are 23 and 21 now and we still talk about it occasionally. And were sad when Lynda Baron (Auntie Mabel) died a few years ago. And sometimes, even now, when I post something in a postbox I think of the episode where they followed a letter all the way through the postal system, from beginning to end 😄

Glee

Also, The Inbetweeners Grin
