DD’s ancient hand-me-down iPad Air is so old it doesn’t support most apps anymore, so it’s time to get her a new tablet. She’s only 5 so doesn’t need it to do anything fancy - we just use it to stave off boredom on long journeys, so we’ll put things like Netflix and iPlayer on there, a painting app she likes, some educational games etc.
I’m enmeshed in the Apple ecosystem but don’t want to buy her an iPad as they’re so expensive, but I don’t know enough about Android tablets to understand which ones offer a good balance of performance and price. Would really appreciate recommendations - thank you!
