Where the hell is my parcel?

I ordered something from a company based in the USA over a week ago (Holo Taco). It came via UPS. It arrived in the UK on Sunday but wasn't going to be delivered till Friday (so far so annoying.) They were telling me what the time window was all week, (around lunchtime) then suddenly it would be by 'end of day'. It still isn't here! Tracking says it's still 'out for delivery' (and has been since Friday morning) and that the 'delivery date will be provided as soon as possible'. Heaven help you if you try and phone their customer service number and want to speak to an actual human. What an earth is going on? Anyone have any idea?

I've emailed Holo Taco as they were very helpful the last time UPS lost one of my parcels. (That one got lost in the USA, Holo Taco sent me a replacement, several weeks later I get a note from Royal Mail saying I needed to pay postage for something which I did, and it was the missing parcel. Still can't figure that one out! Maybe someone found it and popped it in the post?) But I'm still waiting for my stuff!

I hate waiting for a parcel that is due to arrive by the end of the day and doesn’t. However, it might be driver was off sick / taken ill / Van broke down / had an accident, any number of things. Hopefully it will be with you today.

I had a bottle of perfume pootling up and down the East Coast of Australia like a drunken backpacker. Australia Post sent me 117 tracking notices but no alarm bells went off at their end to send a human to find it. If humans were eventually contacted on the phone (Obviously wfh and not paid enough to give a shit. Could hear crying toddlers and fighting cats in one call.) the response was identical - “Have you tried logging it online?” Fucking yes - and I have had the same bot response every single time and no resolution.

@NeverEndingSnorey Well it arrived! Sort of. Got dropped off at the UPS Access Point (a convenience store a few streets away.) As soon as I got the message I was off.

That made me laugh. Beautiful turn of phrase. Did you eventually get it?

(There are some more goodies in the box underneath but I didn't take a picture of those. I bought some more nail polishes to get free shipping.)
