What advert am I thinking of?

I just this image of the new British Gas characters, called The Things. It’s reminded me of something similar from ages ago, maybe the the Noughties, but I can’t think what it is. There was a tv advert with some familiar fluffy creature and I used to think it was so cute. Anyone have any ideas what I’m on about?

It reminds me of the Honey Monster, advertising sugar puff cereal, but I think that was longer ago.

DH and I still do a little silly arms splashing move when we are in a bath / swimming pool etc which I think was based on this advert. Pleased you brought it back in my life I don’t think I have seen it for best part of 20 years 😂
