I’m not dh type at all !

I’ve always found this extremely strange. Dh has always made it clear how much he likes women with very piercing light eyes (blue mostly but also green). Anyone he ever mentions he finds attractive is usually dark haired and blue eyed , or if not dark hair always very striking light eyes.

All his exes have blue or green eyes. However he married me and I have spectacularly ordinary brown eyes and if I’m being kind to myself I’d describe my hair as light brown with some natural lighter bits but equally I could say mousey 🤔 I have no idea why he married me when I’m really not his type ! We laugh about it and it’s not a big deal it just really confuses me ! I’ve asked him a few times and even he can’t explain it! But why would someone have such a specific type and then end up long term with someone who is nothing like their type ???

My ‘type’ is tall , athletically muscled with dark hair, and eyes.

Even on his best day, my DH looks nothing like the man I thought I would love. But, 40 years on, here we are.

All of my DHs celebrity crushes are petite, brunette, Mediterranean/mixed race looking women. I am tall, blonde and pale :)

Same here. DH's ex's were all slim, dark haired and petite.
Im Irish, red hair, freckles and tall- also have a BMI of over 30.
34 years in and he still adores me 🤷‍♀️

It must be that I guess ! It’s just so strange, sometimes I feel like getting coloured contacts for fun to see how long it takes him to notice 😂😂😂
