Cook - home made ready meals delivered to door

Totally agree with brownies. Someone bought some for me when I was a new mum and was the most amazing present. I look back on them fondly now.

I had letterbox flowers delivered and loved them. I think the company was bloom?

Brbreeze · 10/05/2025 19:49

Postbox brownies are great, or a Deliveroo voucher.

Brownies! I swear by Konditor (London based but deliver nationwide) ~ or Bloom and Wild for flowers but they’re a bit pricy for what you get.

M&S did (hopefully still do) an afternoon tea or coffee letterbox gift with cakes. About £20. Really nice.

Although hands down best gift as a new Mum I received was a Hotel Chocolat gift bag - all for
meeeee!! Amazing

The cream tea, scones, clotted cream, tea bags, jam. X

Big no no to flowers?

I suppose it depends on the individual…. Flowers are nice, but when you’re really tired and busy, arranging flowers and then dealing with them when they need binning is just more work.

Purplestarballoon · 11/05/2025 05:50

Yeah agree flowers are lovely but more things to sort out when you’ve got your hands full. Although I received a gorgeous house plant from patch I think this time round as a new baby gift and I loved that. But I agree brownies or some sweet treat would be best.

I’d second the M & S ones - there’s a huge choice and very reasonable

They’re still not doing online orders currently 😔
