Just that really.

Dd struggles a lot and I'd like some hope that she won't always struggle so much.

She is nearly 20. Works part time but doesn't really reach out to people. She has some friends but waits for them to ask her.

I'm worried she will end up lonely. Isn't in further Ed but may well go back one day.

However she also suffers from debilitating period pain endo and we are currently exploring that with a consultant. Pain killers don't help so she could not hold down a full time job or course presently.

I have learned how implement social skills as I got older. Unfortuantely i learnt early on that alcohol can ease my social issues. And it is through alcohol that I made my friends. I am still too reliant on it. However, pregnancy and the early kiddie years forced more social development.

The adhd has never really got better. I muddle through though otherwise i would have no income!

Thank you @Yatzydog

She can get on with people She seems popular and is very funny but she never will initiate. She waits for others. And then gets forgotten or left out. It's so hard to watch.

I was and still am like that. Hopefully her social skills will grow. If others like her that is a huge boost. All the best for you and her 😀
