What to do with toffee apple curd

HelloCanYouHearMe · 10/05/2025 08:10

Morning everyone!

I've been given a jar of toffee apple curd. Aside from eating it directly from the jar with a spoon, does anyone have any ideas on what I can do with it?!

meringue pie?

Pour it over vanilla ice cream

With crumble and custard

On toast

Over a pavlova/Eaton mess instead of/as well as strawberries

Make a vanilla baked/unbaked cheese cake and served with that.

On pancakes

Use in between two layers of sponge or apple cake.

Yes sandwiched in a sponge

On hot heavily buttered toast also

What about swirled in a toffee blondie.

Send it to me? 🙏

I've never tried it but it sounds amazing!

I was going suggest eating it out the jar with a spoon! Sounds delicious. I got rhubarb curd recently which was pretty disappointing, but i shall look out for toffee apple curd.

Is this home made ? Is it something you can buy in shops? I’ve never heard of it before but it sounds lush and I need some now!

I would suggest getting some mini sweet pastry cases and doing a teaspoon of curd in each and then adding a piece of caramelised apple on top. I do this but with caramel condensed milk and a slice of banana for parties and it always goes down well.

Toffee apple curd does sound delicious!

You can get it in English Heritage shops. Its a best seller (and delicious).

I boight it from my local butcher, who has expanded and added a deli... I went in for a sausage roll and came out with a caramelised onion sausage roll, a sweet chilli sausage roll, a slice of quiche and the curd!
