Happy Liberation Day to my fellow Guerns and our cousins in Jersey, and of course to the Sarkees tomorrow!

I hope everyone has a fantastic day celebrating our freedom from occupation, and of course remembrance for those we lost ❤️

A happy day to you all.

Not all of my family are Welsh, there is a Guernsey branch, and several of my ancestors lived through the Occupation.

Sark marks 80 years tomorrow.

Happy Liberation Day from Jersey. Did you see Channel News tonight and the lady with a cage containing a tortoise, strapped to the roof of her car? Only in Guernsey!

What a fantastic day in St Peter Port! Hope everyone else had a good one- watching the news from across the islands this evening when we got home from town was brilliant ❤️
