Oh, another day of debate, talks and votes.
Do you think they actually enjoy it?
I am not sure I could spend days talking about the minute details of my work with colleagues, to choose the one to lead us... but religion is a theme where there is almost no end to what you can discuss.

So, have they chosen a new Pope already?

Its white smoke. When I watched Conclave I thought it was a bit silly that they kept voting all the time without narrowing the field. They should knock off the ones with the lowest votes! But I suppose it only happens every decade or so!

Actually I am clearly not clever, when my DH said there was a new Pope I thought he must be mistaken, so I switched the news on

I did wonder . Your post made me look at the rules and woman are actually barred from standing for papal election. I know you'd have to be a cardinal to stand and there are no female cardinals, so it's a really closed shop for women. Shame really
