Trying to create an academic poster

I want to put in multiple text boxes

I can insert the text boxes, but it won’t let me type anything in there. Anyone come across this issue before?

Thanks

Is it a poster you're going to print out? If so, you'd be better using publisher- it's made to make posters and the like rather than presentations.

No, it’s not to be printed out, has to be done in PowerPoint for a uni assignment

Is your text colour set to the same
colour as your background?

Re-set your font size, text colour (same as background?) and page size

Start a completely new document and try again.
