Does anyone have any experience.

DS2, now 22, had a bit of a failure to launch, after a series of terrible set backs c. 17-20yo.

He's just signed up to so this BMC training and I'm thrilled to see him taking an interest in life. Whether it results in employment or not, it will be good for him to do the travel and training required. He's been a keen hill walker since childhood and maintained that when he was barely able to do anything else.

I'm also really worried he's setting himself up for disappointment though.

I'm not sure what you are asking, specifically ?

BMC are a legitimate organisation, if that's what you are not sure about.
They do all sorts of different courses and qualifications.

Is your ds hoping to work in the Outdoor Ed field?

Why do you think he might be "setting himself up for disappointment" though ?

If he's been on the back foot for a few years, isn't it a positive that he has found something to do ?
