What do you do during the day on a day off?

I'm off today. I've done a wash, tidied upstairs hoovered and mopped, popped to the shops, had my lunch. I've got 2 hours until I leave for school run. I'll probably have a cuppa, watch an hour of TV then sort some washing.

What do you do?

PSA I know it's a luxury to have a day off in the week. I work part time.

I just make sure I'm mindful. Sometimes I go to the gym for a few hours, others I might go on a cleaning spree with a podcast.

I try to protect my day off from cleaning though by having a big push on it the night before. Yes, it's exhausting, but it means I can do as I choose the next day.

Sometimes I craft, read, DIY, garden, play computer games, declutter. All sorts really!

I'm just super mindful that I'm not getting paid or getting pension contributions from my employer and as I pay 50% of the house costs and my husband isn't doing me a favour by subbing me for being at home, the day is entirely mine, so if I do some house bits, fine, but I'm not putting it on myself to be responsible for them "because I'm home more".
