Lunchbox recommendations for adults

Due to this whole back to the office thing I am in need of a lunchbox. Please can you recommend your amazing lunchboxes? I need to be able to store food in it and eat from it, ideally things like leftover dinner from the night before. Will be shoved in a bag so leakproof strongly preferred.

I’ve seen some nice glass compartment ones in Aldi recently. If you want to splash out you could try Lakeland? The Range also have an extensive variety for really good value.

I’ve had a few of the bento box style ones with compartments and while they feel a bit swish and organised at first I found that unless you’re having similar things each day it’s a bit of a pain being constrained to fixed compartments. For practicality I like the bag style zip up cooler ones, I can put a thermal food flask in with some kind of bread thing if I want leftovers or little Tupperware tubs with snacky things in, or a sandwich in a wrap.

So I would buy a selection of things like this:

Tubs - https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/gol-ui/product/sainsburys-home-klip-lock-portion-pots

Thank you both. I hadn't even thought of Lakeland so will have a look, and that lunchbox looks ideal. I really thought I'd left packed lunches behind 🤣

I nuke leftovers to way beyond boiling point Nd use a thermos flask.

I have a lunch bag from Aldi that has a flat bottom section and oval top section.

Top has flash and cutlery and bottom has clip lock boxes of fruit/veg and a yoghurt with an ice pack.

plenty to eat throughout the day.

Inkrefer mini boxes of various sizes as mentioned above a bento box type design limits you to the same size compartments whatever you decide you want.

Somedays I take porridge, some days soup and others left over dinner.

Some days I take a wrap or homemade scotch egg, some days a salad and some days something else totally different like crackers etc and having a decent cool bag and stargaze containers means I can pack whatever I want easily.

I've pulled the trigger on a sistema bento and will have to dig out an old thermos. Very tempted by this one too: Lakeland salad box

For anyone reading this in the future, I found an amazing section at tk maxx too.

Just need a coolbag now but the Sainsbury's one looks great!
