Would you count this as an allergy/intolerance?

Ds can’t eat bananas. He likes them, and banana flavoured things, but they give him belly ache everytime he eats them, so he avoids them.

Yes. Belly ache is usually intolerance.

It’s unusual to be sensitive to one particular fruit isn’t it?

Not unusual and it can revert! DC couldn't eat strawberries or anything strawberry flavoured for 3 years. Everything else was fine. Then one day they ate strawberries in something else (not obvious) and was fine. Enjoyed them ever since! The human body sometimes confuses itself and then fixes it later!

Absolutely not. I get a numb feeling in my jaw when eating raw Kiwi fruit. Cooked is fine. I didn't always get this from Kiwi. I can eat anything else with no problems.

Bananas on an empty stomach, or almost empty stomach, given me terrible wind and gut pains. Eating them any other time is fine.

So there is a small chance he could have sensitivity to latex too? I better keep an eye in the future
