What's wrong with my nails?

They just break so easily. I don't wash them overly often, don't use harsh soaps, never use nail polish or similar.

What could be wrong with me to make them so awful?

Could be any vitamin deficiency to be honest or even anemia/thyroid issues

do you have any known issues? Perhaps look into good quality multivitamins ?

How old are you. Nails usually go like that as you get older . Are you near to peri menopause or menopausal? As Brentford Forever has said it could be a vitamin or mineral deficiency or a thyroid issue. Have you lost any of your eyebrows? That's how my Dr guessed I had an underactive thyroid and dis blood tests.

Some cod liver oil capsules will sort that out. It’s good for bones as well.
