Weird mark on face - doctors?

I have a weird mark on the side of my face. It's scaly and has odd edges.
Dh thinks it's a melanoma.
Is it worth going to the GP?
I'm off work this week so could call in the morning.

It’s worth going to the GP because it’s not worth trusting randoms on the internet with your health.
Its likely nothing, but you can’t know that until you’ve seen a Dr.

Unless your DH is a doctor he can’t say it’s a melanoma and nor can anyone on the internet
see your GP about it especially if you’re off work

And don't be surprised if your GP is non committal about it. Mine referred me to dermatology at local hospital. They have the super duper equipment to check things out properly.

Definitely needs GP to look at it. Who most likely will refer.

Just be warned that the phones are going to be clogged tomorrow due to the Bank Holiday.
