Washing dark clothes.

My (adult) son lives in black clothes and our usual Asda powder has ruined so many, even though using the bare minimum. Can anyone recommend a good washpowder or liquid that won't fade them, please?

You need colour washing powder/liquid. I like the M&S colour protect one in a silver bottle because it’s refillable and you get £2 off. Most brands do a colour version of washing product. Once in a while I’ll use Dylon machine dye to refresh my black stuff. It works very well.

Persil colour liquid is good. I’m also impressed by the Persil wonderwash( Pink one is for colours) I thought it was a gimmick but bought some half price to try

Persil do a dark colour protect capsule which works very well too.

Dylon do a dark washing liquid, I think it’s restoring my black ever so slightly. I’ll definitely buy again.

Aldi laundry stuff is usually good, they do a powder for colours and colour tabs.
Liquid/tabs are usually better for dark clothing because they aren’t as harsh as powder
