How can I get rid of this weird cupboard smell???

Hi MN,
I bought a lovely vintage cupboard on Market place - I love it! But it’s come with a weird smell.
I have put a pot of bicarbonate of soda in there.
The smell remains.
Tried cleaning with Method & white vinegar.
Smell is still there.
its like a rank musty smell.
Any top tips or amazing suggestions?

Try some of those odour absorber things, you can get them on Amazon or most cheap shops like Poundland.

Musty smell? Check it extremely thoroughly for mould and mildew. Try turning it over and looking at it from angles you wouldn't usually see for example.

Is it lightweight enough to put outside in dry sunny weather? Check for woodworm and moth larvae
