Betwetting alarms

DS is 9 and I think he’s had 2 dry nights in the whole of his life. We’ve been seen by a specialist, there’s nothing physically going on he just sleeps so deeply. No ASD or bladder issues. Has been dry during the day since 3.

he’s in desmopressin but it’s crap. He’s still wetting the bed twice a night. Looking at a bed alarm, we did have one but it’s a hard sheet that goes under the sheets and is very uncomfortable. We’re looking at something that clips onto the pants.

Any recommendations or advice welcomed!

Just for reassurance my son was the same. We tried alarms (clip on one too but he slept through it), desmopressin, reward charts- everything.
and one magic day aged 14! he just was dry.
I don’t miss the washing.
Just bear with it. If you don’t do it already then waterproof mattress protector, fitted sheet, waterproof mattress protector, fitted sheet- means you can strip one layer quickly in the night (or they can as they get older)!
The thing that was the hardest was managing school trips and sleepovers…. Very disabling but it was always handled sensitively

It’s so difficult isn’t it.
I feel so terrible for him. It’s starting to really bug him and I’m trying to steer him away from feeling like he’s failing. He’s desperate to go to cub camp but I just can’t open him up to that.

if I get an alarm and it continues I feel
like it will be further evidence for him that it’s not his fault. Do you have a recommendation for one?
